Many forms of Automotive Training

With the increasing complexity of vehicles today, there are different types of training for automotive repair cars, trucks and motorcycles’

High Schools

Some secondary schools offer a solid range of courses covering a range of knowledge of parents in automotive repair’ For example, a school may offer courses in brakes, electrical electronic systems, engine performance and suspension and steering’ A large school may receive certification programs of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF)’ This indicates that the program meets national standards set by these nonprofit organizations’

Career, technical and vocational schools

Many career and vocational technical schools, secondary schools offering automotive training programs are certified by ASE and NATEF’ These include May brakes, electrical electronic systems, engine performance, engine repair, heating and air conditioning, and suspension and steering’

Community Colleges

Community colleges offer a wide range of certification programs, often in collaboration with vehicle manufacturers and dealers to include both classroom and at work’ Her areas of certification in May include those in secondary schools, in addition to areas such as automatic transmission and manual drive trains and axles’ Some post-secondary institutions also offer courses for the certification of alternative fuels, such as conversation and installation of CNG, natural gas, diagnosis and repair, maintenance of CNG and LPG conversion facilities, LPG diagnosis and repair and maintenance of LPG, suspension and steering’

Specialization schools

There are a number of specialists in post-secondary education across the country that provide training and intensity of motor producing graduates who are fully trained and ready to enter the world of automotive repair’

Job training

While the auto repair today requires a great amount of experience, there are still scattered opportunities for vocational training’ This is particularly true for those who choose to specialize and do not need to complete the training car’ For example, someone who specializes in brake repair is not necessary to rebuild an engine comment’

Continuing Education

As in many areas, the range of knowledge necessary to keep pace with changes in vehicle technology, which means that it is important for automotive engineers to continue their education over time’ There are ways to track the car, training, formal and informal than others’

Among the options of training is the Automotive Service Educational continue, or CAS, which is sponsored by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE’ Many colleges and other training institutions offer a CAS, which is auto training specifically designed for people working in the field’

But keeping abreast of developments in the automotive repair does not always go to class’ There are a number of online communities made up of technical automotive service and management jobs’ These communities can contribute articles and downloads for all professionals working in the automotive repair industry, the forums for help with other technicians, the classified ads of used engines and used automotive equipment in the lists of jobs and ability to post resumes’
